About Me

I hold a degree in Psychology, Communication and Dramaturgy from the LMU University in Munich, Germany. Right out of university I got the chance to develop, produce, and direct my own TV show which had a successful run of two years. During the next years I worked as a camera operator for TV shows and documentaries.
In 1998, I moved to Los Angeles and studied Computer Graphics at UCLA. Since then I have been working on visual and product branding for Fortune 500 clients as well as smaller companies and start-ups. I have done a variety of projects as a creative director, art director, designer and animator.
Over the years I also continued my film work and co-produced several documentaries for German television as well as a feature film, which I won the 'Rising Star Award of Excellence in Filmmaking'.
I am particularly proud of my children's book 'Hannah and the Talking Tree' which introduces strengths and core values to children. It won the Gold Medal in the 2010 Moonbeam Children's book awards and I am humbled to say it was recognized by His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the Washington Post as well as many parenting magazines.
